Title
Health and Human Services Agency, Social Services Division, recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Authorize the Chair to sign Amendment I to Agreement for Services 385-S1210 with Scripps Psychological Associates, Inc., increasing the maximum contractual obligation by $89,682 from $60,318 to $150,000, and increasing the term by one year, for the continued provision of psychological evaluation services on an “as requested” basis, for the term ending April 30, 2016; and
2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent or designee to execute further documents relating to Agreement for Services 385-S1210, including amendments thereto and contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management, which do not affect the maximum dollar amount or term of the Agreement.
FUNDING: Funded with a blend of Federal and State funds (85%) with County share of cost or required match (15%) met primarily with realignment funds.

There is no impact to the Net County Cost associated with this Amendment I to Agreement for Services 385-S1210. Sufficient appropriations are included in the Fiscal Year 2013-14 budget and will be included in future County Budget Requests.

The Health and Human Services Agency (“HHSA”) has contracted with Scripps Psychological Associates, Inc. since 2007.
On March 20, 2012, the Purchasing Agent executed Agreement for Services 385-S1210 for the provision of psychological evaluations and written assessments/recommendations in the amount of $60,318 for the three-year term ending April 30, 2015.
