Background
The El Dorado County Commission on Aging is an advisory council to the Area Agency on Aging pursuant to El Dorado County Ordinance Code Section 2.15.010. In accordance with its By-Laws, the Commission on Aging shall report annually to the Board of Supervisors.
Reason for Recommendation
The 2013 Annual Report describes the activities and accomplishments of the El Dorado County Commission on Aging during the past year that have enhanced services for older adults and increased community awareness of the vital programs that serve its elderly residents.
