DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation District (RCD) is conducting post-fire restoration work within Mosquito Fire burn footprint under an agreement with the United States Forest Service (USFS). One of the parcels within this footprint is a County-owned parcel off of Wentworth Springs Rd outside of Georgetown (APN 062-061-019-000). A Right of Entry Agreement is necessary for the RCD to enter the property and begin the work. The RCD plans on commencing work within the project area this month.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose not to have the Chair sign the Right of Entry Agreement with the RCD and post-fire restoration work will not be completed on the County-owned parcel.
