DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
An open, competitive recruitment was held to fill the vacant position of Air Pollution Control Officer for the Air Quality Management District, yielding Rania Serieh as the top candidate.
The recommendation is that Rania Serieh be appointed to Step 2 of the salary range, as Air Pollution Control Officer, along with benefits and compensation per the Salary and Benefits Resolution for Unrepresented Employees.
ALTERNATIVES
If not approved, the Board will be required to consider other candidates or conduct another recruitment for the position of Air Pollution Control Officer.
