Background: On August 11, 2009, the Board approved the County of El Dorado Modified Last, Best and Final Offer with Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 Trades & Crafts Bargaining Unit (MLBFO). The action of the Board required the MLBFO to be effective on the first full pay period after adoption by the Board.
Staff has determined that this is not adequate time to correctly implement Article 7 Section 2.B of the MLBFO involving overtime calculations. Staff is therefore requesting the Board approve an amendment to the MLBFO to add language to Article 7 section 2. B as follows:
"Article 7 Section 2.B shall be implemented as soon as feasible as determined by the County of El Dorado."
