Clerk of the Board requesting the Board consider the following regarding usage of a pool vehicle by Supervisor Nutting on February 25, 2011:
1) Approve the usage of the pool vehicle to meet the needs of the Director of the Emergency Operations Center during the storm threat on February 25, 2011; and
2) Approve the expenditure and authorize a budget transfer in the amount of $19.
Body
During the snow storm on Friday, February 25, 2011 Supervisor Nutting determined that since the Emergency Operations Center was activated, that it was important and necessary to meet the duties as the Director of the Emergency Operations Center during the eminent emergency situation, to have access to a 4WD vehicle.  
The storm did not produce the snow predicted, the vehicle was parked at his residence over night and returned to the County the following day.
The vehicle was driven a total of 51 miles at .3725 per mile for a total expense of $19.00.
