5) Authorize the HHSA Director, or the Chief Assistant Director, to execute programmatic, administrative, and fiscal documents relating to Funding Agreements 6593 and 6419.

FUNDING: 100% California Department of Public Health Immunization Funding.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND:
Beginning in 2017, HHSA’s Public Health Division (PHD) has been the primary recipient of the CDPH Immunization Grant, awarded initially under Grant Agreement 17-10315 (Fenix 6228) with a subsequent award granted under Grant Agreement 22-11034 (Fenix 7040), with the current grant’s term through June 30, 2027. The purpose of this grant is to assist local health departments prevent and control vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) in their local health jurisdictions.
