Title
Chief Administrative Office, Parks Division recommends the Parks and Recreation Commission:
1) Discuss the preparation of the 2025 Annual Report;
2) Determine a date to present to the Board of Supervisors; and
3) Assign the Chair or another commissioner to prepare the report and presentation, or alternatively, appoint an ad hoc committee.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
All committees and commissions are required to make an annual report regarding its activities and a presentation to the Board. It is the board, committee, or commission’s responsibility to prepare its report and the content must be approved by the board, committee, or commission prior to submittal to staff, the Clerk of the Board, and the Board.
The report must include the following:
Cover Sheet
• Include the name of the board, committee, or commission and the time period covered by the report.
• Include all member and alternate member (if applicable) names and their titles, and the name of the executive officer, liaison or staff (if applicable).
Purpose/Objective
• State the purpose or objective of your Committee/Commission.
Membership
• Describe membership and roles (Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary).
What We Do
• Achievements from the prior year.
Challenges
• List and describe your challenges encountered (if any).
Review of Governing Documents
• Provide a brief history of your Committee/Commission.
• Provide an update to the Board as to the efforts that have been made or being made to review/update your governing documents.
Upcoming Goals/Workplan
• Include a set of goals or workplan to be accomplished over the next year. This should include any needs from the Board, staff or other resources. Also, include a timeline or a prioritization of the goals.

• Staff recommendations can be included in this section.
