DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Sierra-at-Tahoe is bringing to our County the prestigious State high school ski and snowboard championship event that will include our very own El Dorado High School, three-time Ski & Snowboard combined champions. The last time this championship was held at Sierra-at-Tahoe was in 1950. The event will feature over 300 male and female skiers and snowboarders racing in both giant slalom and slalom. Presentation provided by Chuck Palmer, Senior Director of Student Services with El Dorado Union High School District and Joe Volek, CNISSF Commissioner & South 1 Division Coordinator, El Dorado High School Teacher, Alpine Race Team Coach.
