DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On July 16, 2019 the Board amended the Authorized Personnel Allocation Resolution to add 1.0 FTE Supervising Library Assistant to the Library personnel allocation. Agenda item 19-0846 stated:
"It should be noted that there are internal candidates in the Library who will likely be interested in this position. If one of those candidates is selected, staff will return to the Board at a later date to delete an existing Library position, thereby reducing the net fiscal impact."
An internal candidate was selected for the Supervising Library Assistant position on August 17, 2019. The recommended amendment to the Authorized Personnnel Allocation will delete 1.0 FTE Senior Library Assistant as stated in Agenda item 19-0846.
