Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement. Sufficient appropriations were included in the FY 2013-14 Budget Request, and will be included in subsequent Budget Requests for the term of the Agreement.

Background
On June 12, 2012, the Board of Supervisors executed Agreement 500-S1211 for the provision of psychiatric services on an “as requested” basis, with a term of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 and a maximum obligation of $180,000.

Amendment I was prepared in April and revised in June to update language to ensure standardization of processes with regard to contracted psychiatrist services. Upon final acceptance of the updated language, Amendment I to Agreement for Services 500-S1210 was immediately submitted for the next available Board Agenda.

Reason for Recommendation
