Surveyor's Office recommending the Board adopt and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 073-2024 for Abandonment of Easement 24-0003, to abandon portions of the Slope and Public Utility easements on Lot 49 of Waterford Unit No. 1, recorded in Book G of Subdivisions at Page 90, identified as Assessor's Parcel Number 110-153-001, located within the community of El Dorado Hills, at 1965 Sheffield Drive (Supervisorial District 1).

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Victoria Bennett and Ryan Bennett, wife and husband as joint tenants, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 110-153-001, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate a portion of the side Slope easement and portions of the rear and side Public Utility easements located on said property. The portion of the easement to be abandoned is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.
The Slope and Public Utility easements, as shown on Lot 49 of Waterford Unit No. 1, recorded in Book G of Subdivisions at Page 90, was offered to the County of El Dorado by Southfork Partnership a General Partnership, on March 17, 1988. The easement was acknowledged by the County of El Dorado on February 23, 1988, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on March 17, 1988.
Department of Transportation, AT&T, Comcast, El Dorado Irrigation District, and Pacific Gas and Electric have not used said portions of subject easements for the purpose for which they were dedicated and finds no present or future need exists for said portions of subject easements and do not object to their vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to that effect.
