Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None. Funding for these activities are included in the individual Departments FY 07/08 budgets.

Background: Information Technologies Department provides county wide owned and leased faciltiies cabling services on an on going basis.

On June 22, the Office of Procurements and Contracts opened bids for Cabling Services on an "As Requested" Basis for the Information Technologies Department. The were four bidders of which Dunn-Wright Communications was the apparent lowest qualified and responsive bid. The amount of the Agreement was for $80,760.00. Due to unforseen and unanticipated moves the work either completed or in progress will exceed the current agreement amount. In order to complete the work at various locations, such as Human Services, Superior Courts, DOT El Dorado Hills and Mental Health the current Agreement will need to be increased by $36,296.64 (see attachment).
