Reason for Recommendation:
Public utility easements, as shown on Cameron Park North Unit No. 4 final map recorded in Book D of Subdivision Maps at Page 36, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in March of 1965, and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in May of 1965.
An application has been submitted by Alireza Mowzooni and Zameneh Mowzooni, owners of Lot 9, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a public utility easement located along the southerly boundary line of Lot 9, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 082-383-01. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” of the attached Resolution.
The subject property is located at the intersection of Knollwood Drive and Cambridge Road, north of US Highway 50, in Cameron Park. Said action is necessary to accommodate planned construction of improvements on the subject lot.
All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject area and do not object to the proposed abandonment. All other existing easements will remain. The Department of Transportation’s staff has reviewed the request and has no objection.
