Total Estimated Grant Request Over 3 Years $1,213,576
Total Current Cost Over 3 Years $1,511,244
Cost to County for 1st 3 Yrs $ $ 297,668
Required 4th Yr Cost Estimate $ $ 520,000

The current cost of funding the 4.0 FTE positions for all three years is $1,511,244. The grant will only allow for funding at an entry level value of Deputy 1, step 1 for a total request of $1,213,576. Existing Deputies are not currently at Step 1, therefore, there is a cost to the County associated with these positions. The amount of general fund contribution after grant offset is estimated at $297,668.
Required fourth year cost at the County's expense is estimated to be $520,000. The total cost to the County for four years is estimated to be $817,668.
