At their meeting of March 22, 2016 (Item 7), the Board approved Introduction of Ordinance 5036 and set a public hearing for Final Passage (Second Reading) on April 5, 2016.
Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) recommending the Board consider an amendment to Chapter 6.12 of Title 6 of the County of El Dorado Code Ordinances, removing section 6.12.010 (E), thereby allowing dogs to be within the established boundaries of Tahoe Paradise Park.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND:
On February 23, 2016 the Board approved in concept an amendment to Chapter 6.12 of Title 6 of the County of El Dorado Code of Ordinances in accordance with Board of Supervisors Policy A-3 “Ordinances - New or Amended.” This amendment to Chapter 6.12 of Title 6 would pertain to General Animal Regulations, General Violations, removing Section 6.12.010 (E), thereby allowing dogs to be within the established boundaries of Tahoe Paradise Park. Chapter 6.12.010 (E) of Title 6 of the County of El Dorado Code Ordinances currently states that it is unlawful to cause or allow any dog to be within the established boundaries of Tahoe Paradise Park.
