DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
Surveyor's Office recommending the Board adopt a Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement (AOE) 18-008 to abandon an Air and Light easement on Lot 131 of "Tahoe Paradise Unit No. 53", recorded at Book D of Subdivisions at Page 82, identified as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 035-246-10, requested by the owners, Wesley Bennion and Sandra Bennion.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Wesley Bennion and Sandra Bennion, owners of APN 035-246-10, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate the Air and Light easement located on the subject property. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The Air and Light easement, as shown on Lot 131 of "Tahoe Paradise Unit No. 53", recorded at Book D of Subdivisions at Page 82 was offered to the County of El Dorado by, Tahoe Paradise Inc, a Corporation, on June 3, 1967. The easement was acknowledged and accepted by the County of El Dorado on June 19, 1967 and the Subdivision Map recorded on June 20, 1967.

ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not adopt a Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement 18-008. By utilizing this alternative, the owner of Assessor's Parcel 035-246-10, would be unable to purse any development that would impact this easement.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
El Dorado County Community Development Services has reviewed the applicants request and does not object to its vacation.

CAO RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve this item.
