Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
There is no Fiscal Impact associated with this agenda item. There is no Net County Cost.
Reason for Recommendation:
The Contract for the remodel and expansion of the Western Slope Temporary Animal Shelter facility was executed by the Board on July 17, 2007. The Project was substantially completed on December 10, 2007.
The Board actions above will start legal time frames for guarantees, a lien period, and return of retention monies.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) The Chairman will sign the Notice of Completion.
2) The Board Clerk will send the Notice of Completion to the Recorder/Clerk's Office for recordation and forward a copy of the recorded Notice of Completion to the Department.
