DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Presentation on Forestry and fire extension efforts in the Central Sierra - Responding to local needs. University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Presented by Susie Kocher
El Dorado County is part of the larger Central Sierra Multi-County Partnership. Through this partnership El Dorado County houses two advisors, three administrative assistants, and multiple program representatives covering 4-H, Nutrition, Master Gardeners, Natural Resources, and Master Food preservers. UCCE programs have expanded into the Lake Tahoe basin and see continued growth in that area. In addition, because of the Multi-County Partnership three additional advisors cover El Dorado County.
