Chief Administrative Office recommending the Board consider the following pertaining to Law and Justice Departments:
1) Receive the following presentations pertaining to potential budget reductions in each of these Departments:
a) Sheriff;
b) Probation Department;
c) District Attorney;
d) Public Defender; and
2) Receive information on the Grand Jury Budget; and
3) Approve recommendations provided by the Chief Administrative Officer pertaining to same. (Est. Time: 5 Hrs.)
FUNDING: General Fund.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) Board to hear presentation by each department.
2) Board to consider and approve recommendations presented by the Chief Administrative Office to achieve savings towards the FY 2011-12 fiscal year projected shortfall.
3) Staff will return on November 15, 2010 with any required resolutions to enact Board direction
