DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pursuant to the requirements of the California Department of Transportation, local jurisdictions must acknowledge, by Resolution, road restrictions that may occur on state highways and roads during special events. Law enforcement, including California Highway Patrol, El Dorado County Sheriff Office and City of South Lake Tahoe Police Department will be involved for traffic controls.
