DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
The purpose of this proclamation is to recognize current and prior grand jurors who have volunteered their time and effort on behalf of El Dorado County citizens, as well as solicit jurors to volunteer and serve in the future.The Grand Jury is a critical component of the California justice system. The primary duties of the El Dorado County Grand Jury are to investigate and report on local government operations to be assured that the responsibilities are being fulfilled efficiently, honestly and in the best interests of the public.
