DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Clerk of the Board’s Office is recommending that the Board extend the sunset date of Board Policy F-8: County Display Cases & Exhibits to July 28, 2030. This extension will allow the policy to remain in effect without interruption while continuing to support the management, scheduling, and oversight of public display spaces within County facilities. A review by County Counsel was not requested, as no substantive modifications were made to the policy. No amendments to the policy are being proposed at this time, as the recommendation is solely to continue the policy’s existing framework for an additional four years.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board may choose not to approve the extension, direct staff to make additional modifications, or take no action.
