DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Board adopted their regular meeting calendar for the 2018 calendar year on November 14, 2017. At the time the calendar was prepared the tentative date for the annual Lake Tahoe Environmental Summit was Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Supervisor Novasel, who serves as the Board's representative on the Tahoe Conservancy Board, was notified by the Tahoe Conservancy that the event was being moved to August 7th. Upon discussions with the Chair, Vice-Chair and Chief Administrative Officer, the Clerk of the Board recommends the Board cancel their August 7, 2018 to encourage Board member attendance at the Lake Tahoe Environmental Summit.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board may choose not to adopt the Resolution and direct staff to take other action.
