DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The strip of land, 50 feet in width, lying 25 feet on each side of an approximate centerline within Parcel 1 of Parcel Map recorded in Book 42 of Parcel Maps, at Page 57, El Dorado County Records, said centerline described on said map as “C/L, Approximate Location of 50’ Turnaround Easement” was offered to the County of El Dorado by Keith Robertson and Marshall C. Brewster on an Owners Certificate recorded on August 6, 1990 by the El Dorado County Recorder in Book 3451 Page 218 (Doc # 1990-0069239) and referenced on Parcel Map Book 42 Page 57. The 50-foot Turnaround Easement was rejected by the El Dorado County Surveyor on October 24, 1990 and the Parcel Map was recorded on October 25, 1990.
A request has been submitted by Steven Germano, an unmarried man, owner of APN 062-071-083, requesting that the County of El Dorado permanently vacate the 50 foot Turnaround Easement located on the southeastern boundary of subject property. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B attached.
PG&E, GDPUD, and Comcast have not used said 50-foot Turnaround Easement for the purposes for which it was dedicated and find no present or future need exists for that easement and do not object to its ...
