DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A Notice of Vacancy was originally posted on April 28, 2026, and has remained publicly posted since that time. As of today’s date, no applications have been received. Jennifer Kalsbeek has expressed her interest and willingness to continue serving in this role.
After a thorough discussion, the Council conducted a formal vote regarding Jennifer Kalsbeek’s reappointment. Upon reaching unanimous consensus, the Council agreed to forward a recommendation to the Board in support of her reappointment.
This recommendation reflects the Council’s commitment to maintaining consistent, experienced leadership and ensuring continuity in its critical mission of advocating for, and supporting, abused and neglected children in our community.
Each member serves a two-year term. There are no term limits.
