DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Gerald R. Souza and Elizabeth A. Souza, in Trust, as Trustees of the Souza Family Revocable Inter Vivos Trust dated June 30, 2008, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 014-303-007, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate a portion of the setback located on said property. The setback is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.
The 20’ setback, as shown on Lot 35 of Westlake Village Unit No. 4, recorded in Book C of Subdivisions at Page 98, was introduced by Westlake Village Company a Limited Partnership, on October 11, 1961. The setback was never offered therefore it was neither accepted nor rejected and the Subdivision Map was recorded on July 10, 1962.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

1) Clerk of the Board to obtain the Chair's signature on the one (1) Resolution.
2) Clerk of the Board to record the Resolution at the Recorder’s Office.
3) Clerk of the Board to return a copy of the recorded Resolution for further processing to the Surveyor's Office, Attn: Keith Rose.
