DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Jason Martin, and an unmarried man and Kendall Cathlyn Fultcher, a single woman, and Craig Kershner and Patty Kershner, Husband and Wife as joint Tenants, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 110-221-010, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate a portion of the rear 10-foot Public Utility easement encumbering said property. The portion of said easement to be abandoned is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The Public Utility easement, as shown on Lot 263 of Waterford Unit No. 4, recorded in Book G of Subdivisions at Page 111, was offered to the County of El Dorado by Southfork Partnership a General Partnership by Home Capital Corporation, a California Corporation, General Partner, on August 29th, 1988. The easement was acknowledged by the County of El Dorado on October 4th, 1988, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on October 12th, 1988.

AT&T, Comcast, El Dorado Irrigation District, and Pacific Gas and Electric have not used said portion of the subject easement for the purpose for which it was dedicated and finds no present or future need exists for said portion of subject easement and does not object to its vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to that effect.
