Body
The mission of the National Day of the Cowboy Organization is to contribute to the preservation of the Cowboy and Cowgirl heritage through education, the arts, celebrations, rodeos and community activities. On August 18, 2011, the California State Senate will present a Resolution to the Executive Director of The National Day of the Cowboy Organization acknowledging the 4th Saturday of July as the annual "National Day of the Cowboy".  It is the Organization's goal to encourage all counties acknowledge the contribution of the Cowboy and Cowgirl to our heritage and adopt locally the "National Day of the Cowboy" as an annual day of recognition.
