Title: Probation Department recommending the Board consider the following: 1) Make findings in accordance with El Dorado County Ordinance Code, Chapter 3.13.030 (B) that specialty skills and qualifications not expressly identified in County classifications are involved in the performance of the work; 2) Make findings in accordance with Procurement Policy C-17 3.4.2. DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The State of California continues to promote evidence-based practices as the standard for programs and services. The Probation Department (Probation) has procured the services of Noble Software since October 2015 for juvenile and adult risk assessments using Dynamic Risk Assessment, Positive Achievement Change Tool (PACT), PACT-pre assessment tools, and Static Risk and Needs Assessment (SRNA), all of which are evidence based.
