Background: The Board approved contract negotiations with Norment Security at its meeting of March 27, 2007, item # 29 (file 06-1588). The contract was subsequently prepared, approved by County Counsel and Risk, and fully executed. However, in an oversight, the Acting Director of General Services was signator to the contract, rather than the Board Chairman as identified in the prior Board action.
Reason for Recommendation: General Services is recommending that the Acting Director of General Services signature be ratified on this contract.
