Background: On Tuesday, November 4, 2008, the Chief Administrative Officer provided the Board with a budget update.   The update described the impacts of projected revenue shortfalls in FY 2008-09 through FY 2012-13.  The Board directed the Chief Administrative Officer to come back on November 18, 2008 with a revised Personnel Allocation resolution reducing approximately 100 FTE's out of the General Fund.
 
One of the positions identified falls within the Air Quality Management District.  This position is currently funded with a General Fund contribution.
 
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Forward a copy of the signed resolution to Human Resources for implementation.
