Body
Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:

Reason for Recommendation: SLESF funds are received from the State in accordance with AB3229, Chapter 134 that added Governement Code (GC) 30061 through 30065.  The State funds are distributed to the counties based on population and distributed to Jail, District Attorney, Sheriff and Citites based on a formula specified in GC 30061.  GC 30063 subdivision (c) requires a public report showing allocations from the county's SLESF filed with the Board of Supervisors, Law Enforcement Oversight Committee, Sheriff and Police Chiefs.

Attached is a report for the Fiscal Year 2010/11 showing the allocations to each entity and the annual report submitted to the State Controller.
