County Surveyor's Office recommending the Board adopt Resolution 001-2012 acknowledging and accepting Irrevocable Offer of Dedication 11-0002 from Thomas R. Van Noord for a road right of way, public utilities easement and slope easement, located on a portion of Assessor's Parcel Number 089-010-47, easement to run 25' from the centerline of Thompson Hill Road. IOD is necessary in order to help satisfy condition #3 of Conditional Certificate of Compliance 02-317.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no Fiscal Impact and no Net County Cost associated with this agenda item.
Background: The County Surveyor's Office received, from Thomas R. Van Noord, an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) for road right-of-way, public utilities easement and slope easement to run 25' from the centerline of Thompson Hill Road. Easement is located on a portion of Assessors Parcel Number 089-010-47, and being more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached IOD. Said dedication is made by Thomas R. Van Noord and is necessary in order to help satisfy condition #3 of Conditional Certificate of Compliance #02-317. The subject property is located south of Thompson Hill Road and east of Lotus Road.
The Department has reviewed said offer and recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chair to sign the Resolution acknowledging and accepting said offer for road right-of-way, public utilities easement and slope easement. Authorization for recording said offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) The Clerk will obtain the Chairs signature on the Resolution.
2) The Clerk will record the Resolution and IOD.
3) The Clerk will return a copy of the recorded Resolution and IOD to the Department.
