Background:
On March 20, 2012 the Board of Supervisors appointed Supervisor Knight as its representative and Supervisor Santiago as the alternate on the South Tahoe Redevelopment Agency Oversight Board. The Board further directed that a Notice of Vacancy be posted for 10 days for a Public Member to serve on the Oversight Board. The Oversight Board must report its membership to the Department of Finance by May 1, 2012.
The Notice of Vacancy was posted on March 20, and applications and/or letters of interest were due to the Clerk's Office on March 30. Applications are attached for the Board's consideration.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Chief Administrative Office will send a letter to the South Tahoe Redevelopment Successor Agency and the Department of Finance confirming the Board's appointments.
