Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The total construction cost associated with the proposed AT&T relocation work is estimated at $137,026. AT&T shall be responsible for fifty percent (50%) of the $137,026, representing $68,513 for its portion of construction costs associated with the relocation work. The County’s fifty percent (50%) share of the actual total relocation work is estimated at $68,513, and will be funded by the State Corridor Mobility Investment Account (CMIA) funds and Local Transportation funds.
Background:
On January 20, 2012, the El Dorado County Transportation Commission (EDCTC) proposed to the California Transportation Commission (CTC) and Caltrans that the U.S. 50 El Dorado Hills Interchange - Phase 2B.1 (AKA HOV Phase 0) Project (Project) construction be allocated $15,500,000 in CMIA.
On January 31, 2012, the Board authorized the Department of Transportation (Department) to advance the Project and to issue a Task Order with Quincy Engineering to prepare PS&E and to provide Right of Way and Utility Certification.
