Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no Net County Cost associated with this Proclamation.
Reason for Recommendation: The month of May has historically been named Mental Health Month, both nationally and in the State of California. The Health and Human Services Agency, Mental Health Division, requests that the Board adopt the attached Proclamation declaring May 2012 as Mental Health Month in the County.
Adoption of this Proclamation encourages all residents to better understand mental health, and be supportive of wellness and recovery.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
Board Clerk's Office to return one (1) signed Proclamation to the Mental Health Division.
