In recognition of the 5-year anniversary of the Angora Fire, Supervisor Santiago requests the board conduct a special meeting at the South Lake Tahoe City Council Chambers to receive presentations from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency on the Regional Plan Update, the Meyers Community Plan process, and Angora Fire area improvements; followed by lunch at El Dorado Beach with the South Lake Tahoe City Council and Senator Ted Gaines with a tour of the site improvements; completing the day with possible further board business at 2:00 p.m. at the City of South Lake Tahoe Council Chambers located at 1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
Special Note: A Targeted General Plan Amendment and Zoning Ordinance Update Scoping Meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on June 25th at the Lake Valley Fire Protection District classroom located at 2211 Keetak Street, South Lake Tahoe (Meyers), CA 96150. Also, Senator Ted Gaines will be conducting a special Angora Fire Forum on the same evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the South Tahoe High School Theater located at 1735 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. The Board of Supervisors is invited to attend.
