Health and Human Services Agency, Mental Health Division, recommending the Board:
1) Ratify the signature of the Health and Human Services Agency Director on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center for Mental Health Services Community Mental Health Services Block Grant (MHBG) Program application for Fiscal Year 2012/2013, in the amount of $153,724, to address the needs of Mental Health Services clients in the County of El Dorado; and
2) Authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director to sign the subsequent allocation documents upon award of the grant.

Background
The County of El Dorado Health and Human Services Agency, Mental Health Division (HHSA/MHD) has utilized Community Mental Health Services Block Grant funding since 1997 to address the needs of County minors diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance who reside in the Juvenile Hall in Placerville and the Juvenile Treatment Center in South Lake Tahoe. Services proposed include initial assessments, individual and group therapy, family sessions, and discharge planning.
