Background and Reason for Recommendation
In order to improve public safety, it is essential that the Sheriff's Office have adequate space to provide Deputies with advanced officer training consisting of building searches, defensive tactics, close quarter combat, etc. DST Realty is willing to allow the Sheriff's Office to use their vacant building located at 5272 Robert J. Matthews Parkway in El Dorado Hills at no cost to the County, which will address the space and training needs of the Sheriff's Office.
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
Clerk will obtain signature of Chair and forward original to Sheriff's Office for processing.
