Background
Elections Code Sections 10400 et seq. provide for consolidation of local jurisdiction elections with a the General Election to be conducted by the El Dorado County Registrar of Voters on November 6, 2012.
Reason for Recommendation
The Registrar of Voters is the Election Official for local jurisdictions within the County. The Elections Department can handle the consoldiation of the jurisdictions' contests on to the General Election ballot.
