Health and Human Services Agency, Community Services Division, recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign Vendor Agreement 145-O1310 with Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center (DCRC) to enable the Senior Day Care Program to receive reimbursement for respite services provided during the period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2015, and authorization for Agency Director, or successor, to sign subsequent amendments thereto, contingent upon County Counsel and Risk Management approval, that do not affect the term or the dollar amount.
FUNDING: Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center - State Grant Funds.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
None. The reimbursement rate of $56 per day covers the entire cost of providing services, resulting in no impact to Net County Cost. There is no maximum annual reimbursement amount as services are provided on an as needed basis.
Reason for Recommendation
Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center receives annual funding from the State Department of Mental Health, which enables them to reimburse counties in their region, including El Dorado County, for respite services for their eligible clients. The Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center (DCRC) provides $56 per day funding per person for respite care as provided by the Agency's Senior Day Care Program. This "Vendor Agreement" is the contract that allows for reimbursement to the Senior Day Care Program for services provided to eligible DCRC clients during the term of this agreement. DCRC has contracted with the County since 1989-90 for provision of Senior Day Care Program services.
Retroactive Term
Upon execution, the contract is retroactive to July 1, 2012. The contract was received from DCRC on July 26, 2012 and processing was expedited.
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
1) Chair to sign (2) original agreements.
2) Clerk of the Board to return signed (2) original agreements to the Agency at Briw Road.
3) Agency to return one signed agreement to the Board.
