Reason for Recommendation
The El Dorado Hills Fire Department currently owns a fully operational wood and brush chipper they no longer have use for. The Facility Division will utilize this wood and brush chipper on various projects and will eliminate the need for rental of similar equipment in the future.
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
The Division will register the wood and brush chipper, Model 2012-D and Serial Number 153321, as their own with the Ca. DMV and work with the Auditor-Controller to record the item in the County's fixed asset inventory.
