Title
Supervisor Briggs recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign a letter in support of the "Gerle Range and Meadow Restoration Project" proposal to be submitted by the Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation District to the Sierra Nevada Conservancy for consideration to receive Proposition 84 Grant Program funding.
Body
The Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation District has been invited to submit a full proposal for the "Gerle Range and Meadow Restoration Project" to the Sierra Nevada Conservancy for funding consideration under the Proposition 84 Grant Program.

The proposed project utilizes broadly accepted measures to effectively manage grazing lands while restoring meadow health and function.  The proposed project is located within the Eldorado National Forest on private property, sub-irrigated by both Dellar Creek and Barts Creek which then drain into Gerle Creek, a tributary to the South Fork American River.
