Reason for Recommendation
The Department of Transportation (Department) received a Grant of Temporary Construction Easement from the El Dorado Union High School District. The subject property is located just southwest of the intersection of Green Valley Road and the future Silver Springs Parkway. The Grant of Temporary Construction Easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B, which are attached to the Grant of Temporary Construction Easement. The Grant of Temporary Construction Easement is a condition of approval and is necessary to accommodate the construction of Silver Springs Parkway to Green Valley Road Intersection Signalization Project, CIP No. 76107.
Department staff reviewed the Grant of Temporary Construction Easement and recommend that the Board authorize the Chair to sign the Certificate of Acceptance.
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
1. The Acting Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair's signature on the Certificate of Acceptance for the Grant of Temporary Construction Easement.
2. The Acting Clerk of the Board will send the Grant of Temporary Construction Easement and Certificate of Acceptance to the Recorder-Clerk's Office for recordation.
3. The Acting Clerk of the Board will forward a copy of the documents to the Department for further processing.
