Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
There is no fiscal impact or change to net county cost associated with this item.
 
Background
The City/County Two By Two Committee is comprised of Supervisor Sweeney, Supervisor Briggs, City of Placerville Vice-Mayor Wendy Mattson, and Council Member Patty Borelli.  On November 13 the City/County Two By Two Committee adopted a letter encouraging the City Council and the Board of Supervisors to adopt a resolution emphasizing a mutual commitment to establish joint projects and programs that benefit the citizens of El Dorado County and the City of Placerville.  The City Council adopted its resolution on December 11.  A copy of the Two By Two Committee's letter and the City of Placerville resolution is included in Attachment A.
 
Reason for Recommendation
The Board of Supervisors should adopt a similar resolution to complete the recommendation of the Two By Two Committee.  Attachment B is the county version of the resolution adopted by the City of Placerville.
