Background
The drainage easement, as shown on Lot 58 of "The Summit - Unit No. 1", recorded at Book G of Subdivisions at Page 91 was offered to the County of El Dorado by, SOUTHFORK PARTNERSHIP. It was signed in counter-part by Robert B. Coker Jr. of COKER-EWING COMPANY on February 5, 1988; and by Harry W. Ewing of EWING DEVELOPMENT, INC on February 8, 1988; and by Marilyn K. Ashby and Donald R. Faye of HOME CAPITAL CORPORATION on February 5, 1988. The easement was rejected by the County of El Dorado on March 1, 1988 and the Subdivision Map recorded on March 17, 1988. Although the drainage easements were rejected, the offer is open in perpetuity and runs with the land.

Reason for Recommendation:
A request has been submitted by, Jason E Lamb and Sabrina E Lamb, owner of Assessor's Parcel Number 110-171-09, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate a portion of the drainage easement located on the subject property. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted in Exhibit B.

El Dorado Irrigation District has not used said easement for the purpose for which it was dedicated and finds no present or future need exists for that portion of the easement and does not object to it's vacation. El Dorado Irrigation District has issued a letter to this effect.

The Surveyor's Office staff has reviewed the request, and recommends the Board approve and adopt the Resolution of Vacation terminating and abandoning a portion of the drainage easement.
