Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
There is no fiscal impact to the Net County Cost associated with this agenda item. Funding for the construction phase of the U.S. 50/Silva Valley Parkway Interchange - Phase 1 Project (Project) will be provided by El Dorado Hills Traffic Impact Mitigation Fees - Silva Valley Interchange Set Aside Fund, 2004 GP TIM-Silva Valley Set Aside, Developer advance funds, and a State-Local Partnership Program grant. The mitigation credits cost is incorporated into the total construction and construction engineering costs for this Project.

Background
On June 28, 2011, the Board certified a Supplemental Environmental Impact Report and authorized the ordering of title reports, certified appraisals, and the commencement of the acquisition process for the Project. Subsequently, Transportation and project partners have been working to secure resource agency permits necessary for the Project construction.

The Project will impact portions of existing wetlands under the jurisdiction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (Corps). This impact required consultation with the Corps, and issuance of a permit under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
