Title: Chief Administrative Office, Procurement and Contracts Division, presenting a list of County surplus property and recommending the Board consider the following: 1) Declare the items as surplus and no longer required for public use; 2) Authorize disposal of same in accordance with the procedures outlined in the County's Purchasing Ordinance, Chapter 3.12 and Section 3.12.220 thereof; and 3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute an agreement for the donation of thirty-six (36) computers and seven (7) keyboards to El Dorado County Office of Education.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
These computers and keyboards purchased by the Probation Department have become obsolete and are no longer usable by the Probation Department. Donee will use surplus Computers and keyboards at local schools for public education purposes per Agreement # 470-O1311. Items donated will be collected and removed by El Dorado County Office of Education in accordance with Agreement #470-O1311 for the purposes of public education.
 
Reason for Recommendation
Property determined to be surplus to the needs of various departments is offered to other County departments in accordance with Purchasing Ordinance 3.12.190 - Surplus Pool. The attached list of "surplus property" reflects those items that remain surplus to the needs of the County. The Purchasing Agent will dispose of said property in accordance with the Purchasing Ordinance as noted in Section 3.12.210 and Section 3.12.220 thereof by means of donation.
 
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
Upon approval of the recommendation, the Purchasing Agent shall dispose of said property by means of donation.
