This Amendment reflects funding reductions in the amount of $3,706 to Title IIIB Supportive Services, $244 to Ombudsman, $11,201 to Senior Nutrition, $262 to Disease Prevention, $1,394 to Family Caregiver Support Program, $80 to Elder Abuse Prevention and $1,607 to Administration. The total reduction in funding of $18,494 will be offset by decreased expenditures in Title III/VII senior services.
Background:
On June 18, 2012, the Board adopted Resolution No. 065-2012 authorizing the execution of Agreement AP-1213-29 with the California Department of Aging (CDA) in the amount of $905,031 for the period of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
On February 12, 2013, the Board adopted Resolution No. 013-2013 authorizing the execution of Amendment 1 to Agreement AP-1213-29 increasing the total agreement amount by $35,767 to $940,798 with no change to the term.
Reason for Recommendation:
Amendment 2 to Agreement AP-1213-29 reduces the total agreement amount by $18,494 due to the implementation of the federal sequestration.
